Bear turned seven months yesterday so we took some pictures to celebrate. I also started school this week and needed a little something to help me unwind. What better way then a little dress up with he baby. I thought these pictures were absolutely hilarious. I know Bear is probably going to be just a little upset when he realizes that I have not only dressed him up in women's sunglasses and taken pictures, but posted them on the blog for everyone to see! I definitely think I had a harder time adjusting to our change of schedule. Bear really could have cared less. He really loved hanging out with his Grandma Chooks and Danielle and Owen. Gma Chooks must have worn him out cause he took a good nap when he came home from her house : )

Banana Baby and the Pokey Puppy
This was two weekends ago in McCall at Payette Lake. Poor Bear, we tried on his little lifejacket... but it didn't fit right. He kind of looks like a mad banana doesn't he. Kimball and I couldn't help but laugh hysterically, poor guy. My parents got a new puppy. She is a wild crazy little gal named Taz. She is a heeler and the sweetest thing. She loves Chuie, not sure if Chuie loves her back as she likes to chew on her tail.

Six Month Portraits
Here are Bear's 6 month portaits. I had a really hard time picking out which ones to print because they were all so cute....
So, I am really sad because I go back to school next Tuesday... I am going to miss the little guy. But I am also really excited because I will be getting adult interaction AND I am almost done with school. It will be so nice to finish and actually get a teaching job! I know he will be in good hands while I am away. My friend Danielle is going to watch him on Tuesdays and Grandma Chooks is going to watch him on Thursdays. It is only two days a week, but they are long days and the only other time I was away from him for an extended period is when I had surgery... and I was unconcious half the time.

Couldn't resist
I stole this picture from Jen's blog. I believe that is my arm reaching out to grab Bear. Those sweet little girls just wanted to get their picture taken with their cousin Bear, but oh no, he had to through a big fit. Still don't know why he was so upset. I just think he didn't like the grass... who knows.

Week in Review
After reading Jen's post about making baby food, I got inspired to do a little creating of my own. I picked some green beans from our garden and blended them up in the blender (apparently the food processor doesn't break up their tough skins as well), then I froze them and wallah! Baby food. Well, Bear was nearly excited about my ambitious domestications, his reaction "Uck, gag, cough", of course he doesn't really like the store green beans either, so what can I say. I love Bear's feet... and now that he has found them it is even more fun. He is so cute when he lays on his back grabbing his toes.
This is Bear's favorite playing spot right now. He has a basket full of toys which he chews on, and throws across the room one by one. He is sitting up so good now, it is fun to watch him explore in the big toy box.
This is what we did for Kimball's birthday. We went to the park and swung on the swings, threw the frisbee for Chuie in the river... even dipped Bear's feet in. We also went in the fountain but of course didn't get any pictures of that...
Last night we had some friends over to celebrate Kimball's big day, the picture in the middle is of his yummy ice cream cake. Good times!

Jen tagged me so now I have to tell you 7 things you don't know about me, then I guess I have to come up with 7 more people to tag... hmmm... I don't know that many bloggers.
1. I like to read true crime and multiple personality novels.
2. I have half of an MBA.
3. It took me 7 long years to get my bachelor's degree.
4. I worry about Barrett every second he is out of my sight.
5. I would love to learn photography.
6. My mom is one of my best friends.
7. I only like to cuddle on my terms. I hate to cuddle in bed, leave me alone so I can sleep.
Ok, so 7 people to tag: (If you don't have a blog, you can post it in the comments section). Nanette, Alicia, Stephanie W., Mom, Chooks, Danielle, Ben
Will update with some pictures soon, promise.

Happy Birthday Kimball!!!
I just want to wish a Happy Birthday to my wonderful hubby who turns the big 3 2 on Sunday. I am very happy to say that we will be the same age for almost 3 months. Although he has lost some hair...
And grown a belly...
He is still the sexiest man I know.
He is a wonderful husband, and an amazing father...
Barrett and I (Chuie too!) are very thankful for all of the joy he brings to our lives. We love you! Happy Birthday!

Hanging out, being cool
All smiles for this guy! We just got back from his 6 month doctor appointment and I am very happy to report that he did not cry during or after his shots... I think I have a little toughie here. Instead of being off the charts in weight, he is now off the charts in height! Bear is 29 inches long, 22.1 pounds, and his head is a whopping 18 1/4 inches. He is 97th percentile in both weight and head circumference so he is pretty darn close to being off the charts. Just a big, happy, smiley guy.
We have made quite a bit of progress on the floors. We are pretty much done (sans kitchen) except for the transition pieces and the moulding, which we have restained and will hopefully put up tonight. I am so excited to get our house back in order
