2 months old...

And oh, so exhausted!

Here is Bear after his 2 month well baby check up. He got shots today and he was a tough little guy. Think it was a lot more painful for mom than for him. Doc says he is very healthy though. He now weighs 15 lbs 6 oz and is off the charts for weight. Is 24 1/4 inches long, 95%, and his head measures 16 inches, 75%. He is doing awesome. He must have been completely worn out because the poor little guy knocked his little sun hat off his head. Been sleeping most of the day, but that is too be expected.

First Anniversary come and gone...

Well, Kimball and I celebrated our first anniversary on Saturday. I can't believe it has already been a year, but my oh my, how things have changed. The addition of Little Barrett has definitely changed our lives, but I think we both agree it has all been worth it. Kimball and I celebrated with dinner at the Red Feather downtown. We met there almost 2 1/2 years ago and thought it was only fitting to celebrate there. Barrett went to Big Grandma's house... not only was this our anniversary but it was our first date since the baby. It was kind of nice to have some adult time together but our conversation still seemed to revolve around the baby... see, things have definitely changed. And by the way, our wedding cake was still the best cake I have ever tasted. I actually broke into it Friday night because I couldn't stand it any longer. I actually craved that cake when I was pregnant...

7 week pics

This is Barrett's favorite napping place... wish he would sleep like that in his crib but he always wakes up as soon as you put him down.

6 weeks and tortured

until he gets tired, then only seconds later...

He is getting so big! I weighed him the other day and the scale said he weighed 16 pounds - who knows how accurate that really is but we will find out his real weight on the 29th when he goes in for his 2 month appt.

First trip to the cabin!

Barrett has made his first trip to the cabin... and he even went snowshoeing! He is 5 weeks old now and getting big, he is already wearing 3-6 months clothes.
