Here are some more pictures of Barrett. He is the best little baby. He is such a good sleeper and is breastfeeding well. We are so in awe of him right now... I am uploading some more pictures to the Shutterfly account (it says it will take 3 hours - guess we have a lot) so if you don't get enough of him on the blog site you can check out more pictures there. Should have those up by tonight hopefully.

Introducing Barrett Michael Lowry

Making his debut on January 29th at 12:43 PM, after 23 minutes of pushing and 45 stitches later. Weighing in at 8 lbs. 15.4 oz, with a reach of 21.75 inches, from the blue corner.....Barrett Michael Lowry.

Mom is sore but doing well. Barrett hasn't been too fussy and likes to sleep between feedings and diaper changings. Everyone is busy adjusting to the lifestyle changes, which so far have been well recieved.

Induction on Monday!

So, it doesn't look like we will be going into labor naturally... just grateful that we will be getting induced on Monday. I can't believe all this waiting and anticipation is almost over. There is a link on the left side to my shutterfly photo album if you want to see more pictures. Once the baby gets here we will post a couple pictures and then put more on the link. Should be home by Wednesday as long as I don't have a c-section so I will try to update the pics as quickly as possible. Love to all.

Overdue!

Here I am at 40 weeks and 2 days pregnant hanging out in the little man's room. I just don't think my belly can stretch much more. He is so low I have to go to the bathroom all the time, but high enough that his butt is right under my ribs so I have a real hard time gettting comfortable. So far I have avoided stretch marks but am afraid I will get them at the last minute.... Been having more frequent Braxton-Hicks but nothing that is consistent. Just trying to keep myself busy until Monday. Think all the projects I have been putting off forever are just about done!

39 Weeks and counting

Here I am at 39 1/2 weeks.

Still Waiting

Well, I am now 40 weeks and 2 days pregnant. We have set an induction date for Monday the 29th at 5am so there is an end in sight. I can do 5 more days! I can't believe we will be holding our little son in less than a week. My parents are convinced the baby will make his arrival sooner than his induction date but I am not holding my breath. Need to have Kimball take another picture of my big belly before he gets here. I will post it as soon as I have one. Please keep your fingers crossed for an easy, problem-free delivery.
